I had a few days off and finally sat down at my computer after a busy December. I plugged in some featured that idealized my own living room into the AI photo creator and this is what came out. Our own golden retriever is much more fluffy and our weather is just so stereotypical Northwest today… pouring down rain, 45 degrees, and kinda foggy. No white Christmas this year. Regardless, I’ve been operating this web space for a year now, and have some followers and roamers who have dropped in. I see that family has peaked, and I wonder if some old patients have cruised by.

Regardless, I am taking a moment today and looking back with gratitude for the life I’ve been blessed to live. I think I was able to do some good. I was able to be there for my family. I had some amazing encounters in the natural world. My health is good, my job is rewarding… I’m blessed with peaceful surroundings, and wonderful people.

I lit some candles and meditated on these things, and quietly said a prayer from my own tradition, thankful for this time to reflect: May you all have a moment today to consider with gratitude the good in life and move forward with some joy and hope.
