This is a difficult question and it depends on my mood when you ask me. Overall, though, I can’t get past Kaua’i, Hawaii. I have been there three times, more than any other vacation spot and there are plenty of reasons for that. The main reason to me, though, is that I think it is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.

The beaches, the sunsets, and the laid-back culture are all so great! I love the fact that you can adventure significantly around the island. Playing in the waves could literally keep you busy for an entire week. Snorkeling, surfing, checking out the turtles and other marine animals, and just hanging out on the beach are so unique in this island paradise. Then there are the mountains and valleys! So many hikes, and inner island trips to experience! It’s one of the few places that a helicopter ride is required because there is just so much to see and enjoy.

The Napali Coast is likely my all time favorite place. There is nothing like it anywhere! From the air it is gorgeous.

From the ground, amazing! The hike above from Haena on the Kalalau Trail was a 10/10 for me. The hidden beaches, and the secluded waterfalls are literally the best.

Otherwise, the view from Brennecke’s Beach in Poipu may satisfy the less adventurous. The waves break big here and it’s fun to watch all the kids play!
That is my short answer to this question of the day. Put Kaua’i on your bucket list and you won’t regret it!
